Keep your gear running smoothly all season long! Seasonal rental customers receive free basic hot waxes and seasonal maintenance at The Hoarding Marmot.

To help us keep your rental equipment properly maintained, all waxing, tuning, repairs, and other servicing of seasonal rental equipment must be completed by The Hoarding Marmot. If something happens to your equipment during the season, bring it back to us and we'll take a look.

Please do not have seasonal rental equipment serviced by another shop or technician without contacting us first. This helps us keep track of the equipment's condition and ensures it receives the appropriate care throughout the season.

Kids grow fast, we get it! Youth seasonal renters can come in for a size adjustment or equipment change if they outgrow their gear during the season. Changes are subject to equipment availability, but we’ll do our best to keep your young skier properly fitted and comfortable all winter.

Need your equipment a little longer, or finished with it early? Please contact us before April 30th if you’d like to request an extension. Extensions may be available depending on equipment availability and upcoming rentals, and must be arranged with The Hoarding Marmot before the end of the rental period.

Equipment kept past April 30th without an approved extension will be considered late and will accrue a $10 per day late fee beginning May 1st. Requesting an extension after the rental period has ended does not waive or reverse late fees that have already accrued.

Early returns are always welcome, but seasonal rental fees are based on the full rental period and are not prorated.

TLDR;
Extension: Must be requested before April 30.

Early return: Totally fine, but no prorated refund.

Seasonal rentals run from October 1 through April 30th. All equipment must be returned to The Hoarding Marmot by the end of the rental period.

Skiing and snowboarding come with a little wear and tear! Normal use and accidental damage, like scratches or hitting an unexpected rock, are part of being out on the mountain and we understand that things happen. If equipment is significantly damaged, lost, or cannot be returned, additional charges may apply depending on the extent of the damage or loss. If something happens to your rental gear, just let us know we’re happy to take a look and figure out the best way to handle it.
